Scottsdale’s British Open Pub is Named Top 5 English Pub in Arizona

Scottsdale, Ariz. – British Open Pub has been named a Top 5 English Pub in Arizona in the Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix 2011 readers’ poll.

British Open Pub offers a full menu, including Fish and Chips made with premium North Atlantic Cod dipped in English-style batter, deep fried and served with traditional, English chips (fries); Bangers and Mash, tasty English sausage served with fluffy mashed potatoes and gravy, sautéed onions and vegetables; and Charlotte Steak, an 8 oz. Filet Mignon topped with mushrooms and port sauce; and more.

“People love our English dishes,” Troilo said. “A lot of people go for the more unusual menu items like Cottage Pie, Beef and Guinness Pie, our English Beer Cheese Dip, the Basket of Wallys or our Celtic Nachos. They’re all good.”

British Open Pub offers Buffalo Wings, Potato Skins, Traditional Nachos, Chicken Quesadillas, Chicken Tenders, Build-Your-Own Pizzas, and good, old-fashioned macaroni and cheese.

The British Open Pub specializes in imported British beers, including Guinness, and stocks more than 100 different selections.
